The Water Quality Association

The Water Quality Association (WQA) is a not-for-profit international trade association representing the residential, commercial, industrial, and small community water treatment industry. WQA maintains a close dialogue with other organizations representing different aspects of the water industry in order to best serve consumers, government officials, and industry members. WQA is a resource and information source, a voice for the industry, an educator for professionals, a laboratory for product testing, and a communicator to the public.

UL

UL is the trusted source across the globe for product compliance. Benefiting a range of customers – from manufacturers and retailers to consumers and regulating bodies – they have tested products for public safety for more than a century.

The Purefecta Drinking Water Purifier was tested by UL and found to meet all the requirements of the USEPA’s Guide Standard and Protocol for Testing Microbiological Water Purifiers (OPP Task Force Report, 1987) as interpreted by UL specifically for the Purefecta product.

BioVir Laboratories

Since 1988, BioVir Laboratories has been helping clients throughout the United States and abroad address their environmental testing needs. BioVir conducts testing and research services for quality water, wastewater and biosolids.
